Jury Rejects Death Penalty for Moussaoui

I am opposed to the death penalty, so I am pleased. In fact I am quite pleased and proud of my fellow Americans on the jury. However, their decision does help show just how arbitrary the application of the death penalty is in the USA. We often kill people for basically ordinary murders adn Moussaoui was guilty of much more than that. My opposition to the death penalty is not based on arbitrary sentencing, but supporters of the death penalty should wonder what is going on.
